A couple of us prayed for a young man that was having very intense and disturbing dreams. He saw demonic images that seemed to come inside him. Since childhood, he had suffered from rages. He would go from feeling nothing to full-on rage. He had been physically abused by both his mother and father. They had been similarly abused by their parents. I will call him Bill.
As we ministered I asked Jesus to come and visit the little boy that had suffered so much. Bill started to cry. Because of the rejection, he had received I sensed that he was fragmented in his mind emotions and spirit. I asked Bill if this was so and he agreed. It was as if he didn't know his identity. Suddenly Bill’s body tensed and his fists curled up into a ball. Then Bill admitted the hatred he felt for his parents and said sorry to Jesus for this. Then he received forgiveness. His body seemed to relax a bit. Then I encouraged Bill to extend to his parents the forgiveness he had just received. After this Jesus released him from the rage in a really beautiful way and started to bring healing.
Suddenly I had the sense that Jesus wanted to visit Bill as a baby being born. I explained this to Bill, that I didn't know how Jesus was going to do it. Bill agreed and asked Jesus to visit him in his mother’s womb. After this a beautiful time of healing took place. Bill literally experienced God's presence as a tiny baby. Then I spoke over him whatever the Lord was saying through me. Father God delivered Bill as a tiny baby into his arms. Afterward, Bill described to us what had happened. It was truly wonderful. At the end of the ministry, Bill said that he felt amazing and all the rage and hatred had gone.
This time of prayer ministry was like a cork coming out of a bottle. I am sure that Bill would experience more healing and wholeness in the future. He was on a journey (as we all are).
Sometimes ministry can be like this. Something happens that has a beginning middle and end. We end on a high.
At other times we know that we have seen just one layer of pain healed or some freedom. We leave wanting to have seen more happening. It is all healing.
We must always just go at the pace that the Receiver will allow. Also, we must always track what the Holy Spirit is doing. Not rush ahead with our own ideas of how it should go...but always be following what he is doing.
I want to encourage you today to just be obedient to what Jesus is saying and leave the rest to him. HE IS BIG ENOUGH AND HE CAN DO ALL THINGS.
Praise your name, Jesus.
