After a little while of ministering to a lady called Marie, she said she found it difficult to relate to Jesus as men had hurt her badly.

After a while, I asked her how old she was when this happened. She said 5yrs old. When she said this I had and the idea that she had been sexually abused.

A couple of weeks ago I was ministering to a woman in another church. I will call her Rachel. As I laid hands on her, the word ‘rejection’ came into my mind. I asked Rachel if she felt like this. She nodded and said, “My husband abandoned me and my two small children years ago”. Rachel started to cry.

Recently in a church I was called over to minister to a man and his wife. I will call the guy Tom. First of all I asked Tom what did he want Jesus to do for him. He said that he was suffering from a lot of anxiety. I asked him how long he had been suffering this. Tom replied, ”since I was a young boy”.

This isn’t one of those big stories where I prayed for someone in a shop, they got healed and delivered and knelt down and gave their lives to Jesus. But it did happen this week and I was very reluctant.

I was passing by a shop in a local town and thought I should go in and stand and look at some pendant necklaces. It felt strange as I wasn’t particularly attracted to them so couldn’t understand why I was still staring at them.

Unable to forgive:

I usually like to pray/minister to someone by first of all connecting with them and putting them at ease, that is not always possible or appropriate at the time of meeting them.

This happened recently at our church. A young person between 15-16yrs of age came forward for prayer in answer to a word given out at the front for someone who “was unable to forgive someone, causing them a lot of pain “.

I had two brilliant God appointments on my holiday.

In the big open-air fish market where catch of the day is taken and gutted and prepared for selling to restaurants etc, I met a woman washing the fish. I asked her how did she get the smell out of her hands. She said she poured neat bleach on them, rubbed them hard, rinsed, then did the same thing with washing up liquid, then another lot of bleach rubbed in again!

I love the fact that the Holy Spirit keeps us on our toes. He is always changing the way He reveals things like 'words of knowledge'. If He kept things the same we would have no need for faith and stepping out and risking it.

One night recently I had a dream that I was ministering to a woman .....suspended over her head was a Welsh name...the name of a woman that I had known years ago.

A couple of us prayed for a young man that was having very intense and disturbing dreams. He saw demonic images that seemed to come inside him. Since childhood, he had suffered from rages. He would go from feeling nothing to full-on rage.

During some Youth Festivals last year I ministered to many many people who all hated themselves. Unfortunately, it isn't just young people who feel this way about themselves, but people of all ages.

Sometimes people say they don't like themselves. If left unaddressed this can often develop into self-hatred.

At church, a man called Tim came for ministry for a physical condition. My husband and I ministered to him. Prompted by the Holy Spirit I asked him if anyone else in his family had the same thing. He said all of his family had it as well as his grandparents.

After a few seconds a lady emitted a loud noise and rushed from the room.

Max asked Jesus to come and visit him as a child and bring healing

Many of us believe in the person and power of the Holy Spirit but are hungry to see more evidence of him in our everyday lives.
